Each advisor will support four projects during the fellowship year withdedicated mentorship, project advice, and other tailored non-financial support.This fellowship is part of the American Rescue Plan: Humanities Grantmaking program(#SHARP), an emergency relief program intended to fund grantmaking programs that assistorganizations and individuals working in the humanities who have been adversely affected bythe coronavirus pandemic, and require support to restore and sustain their core activities. Emergency financial support to U.S. and international independent artist organizations focusing on historically underrepresented communities, to be deployed by these organizations both as regrants to artists and to strengthen the organizations themselves in their ongoing work.
